The Castle Corona: Review Haiku

Just like a princess:
beautiful and well-mannered,
but fairly shallow.

The Castle Corona by Sharon Creech, illustrated by David Diaz. Harper, 2007, 320 pages.

Huh. I read five chapters, ut it down, picked it up and didn't remember what I'd read. I backtracked a few chapters, went beyond the initial five, put it down... couldn't recall a thing. So I gave it up.

Or did I?

Perhaps the book has some magical properties that feed you dangerous messages that include a form of soma, an hypnosis that makes you forget what you've read (or think it shallow) and suddenly the Jedi mind trick kicks in and these are not the droid's you're looking for, move along...

Uh, no. It's really just empty.

It's so nice to know I'm not alone. (And since I read BRAVE NEW WORLD last year, I even get the soma reference. I am so SMRT.)

Service : Customer service was great. Woman on the phone had a exciting approach and We received moolah super fast.
Value :I personally had been given the best value mainly because fast loan charges have been completely incredibly reasonably competitive.
